UFO Headlight Straps Cracking

The mounting straps that hold on my UFO twins headlight are splitting and cracking in my opinion way before their time. My son has one also and his are doing the same thing. The straps look very similar to those on my KTM that look and work just fine and are also much older. I may see if they fit and order replacements from KTM.
Anybody else experiencing the same problem???

Yep, I have one barely holding on. They are stretched to the max on the kx usd's, you can tell they are made for the stock KDX fork tubes. FRP sells replacements.

Nope, It has been stored outside, covered probably still getting some UVs.

My UFO straps are probably in the 4-5 year old range. Nothing in the way of cracking/failure yet.
Knock wood!
Bike is stored inside. My straps are for USDs. Not stretched more'n they should be.
