Foot pegs

Post by canyncarvr »

Hi! I'm relatively new to the sport. Common sense would probably already know the answer...but I don't have any...so I'm asking.

Has anyone used or have knowledge of these foot pegs?

HERE!

Thanks!

I recall someone was looking for some new pegs and I found them on eBay. I have never used them but it is a very good value if they fit.

They look almost identical to my IMS Pro's....

Check his return policy and if it is crap... move on.

That's all I know about that....

From the pic, they don't look as beefy as my IMS but pics can be deceiving. For that price, can't really go wrong, if they don't fit well you're only out 28 bux (aren't the IMS around 100 bux?)

IMS pegs are pretty spendy. I don't mind spending $ on something that works...but if I can spend .1$ on something that works just as well...I will.

Thanks for the quick learnin' Inda. Much appreciated.

FTR..his policy: Return within seven days..cash refund.

I think they list for like $126 or close... I got mine for a deal but actually... When I got mine... one was stainless and said IMS Pro on it and the other one looked exactly like the ones pictured in the eBay auction. That one fit tight and needed a little material taken off. Otherwise... Identical.

You ordered IMS and got one? Or..you ordered an ebay item and got one of each?

Stainless would be wunnerful...but, that's not happening for $20!

er... no.

It was an eBay auction... had the stainless one pictured (stock photo of course) Got them for like $60 I think... when I got them, they were vacuum sealed in the package but one of them was painted like the ones in that auction. I really think they are made by the same folks.

I think those would be a bargain and wouldn't hesitate if I needed some today.

YOur pegs were beginning to remind me of Peter Cottontails buddy's ears; floppsie!! Ha!! I mention that last time we rode. I couldn't figure out how your feet were staying on the pegs. Glad to see you are finally taking my advice and getting new, if not better, ones.

BTW, loose a little weight and they won't bend so quickly....

Oh yea. I remember. In the garage. Your bike in pieces and we are to ride the next morning. Pegs looked like basset hound ears and I pointed it out. Wib was there. Drunk, but there....

Yes. they are absolute crap! Here is what you can expect if you drop you bike ! They don't come with the springs and you have to use and modify the stock ones. As they say: Pay cheap, pay twice!
