price of front end?

Post by scheckaet »

What would be a fair selling price for:
Front wheel (05)
Axel + spacers (05)
Complete speedo with mount and cable (05)
fork (01) with gold valve (set up for 180 lb rider I believe)

I found a buyer but have no real idea of what is the going on price, was thinking about $180 for the complete setup (60 for wheel and axel, 40 for the complete speedo and 80 for the fork)

Thanks
Wilf

RSU or USD? 'fork (01)' with you having an '01 KX front-end tends toward the USD idea?

Speedo went with the front wheel I figgered...fork a completely differnt issue.

$180 sounds like a deal to me. Wasn't JeffreyF buying forks for a couple hundred?

I prolly misrememmer that......

Does the wheel have a rotor? Meaning...one not shaped like a woodworking biscuit?

Yeah, everything is in mint condition (I know they all say that) , only rode a year with this front end (and I was slow(er than now) so not many crash on it)
The wheel has a good rotor, bearing good, no bent or missing spokes, rim is straight, no ding or dang on it.
The fork is a bit more scuffed and all since it's an 01 (I got it with the gold valve from another rider), but it's just esthetic.

He was, I've heard some members sold their for around 150 so I checked with him a few months back and I think he didn't really need any of it cuz he offered somthing like 75 for the complete front end (wheel, odo, axel, forks, top and bottom triple clamp...) so I decided to wait and see...

So...considering maybe $150 to be 'good'..WITH a wheel..it's more'n $180, ain't it?

Anyway, you asked about 'fair'. $180 seems 'fair' (to the buyer for sure) to me.

But...I have a set (forks, wheel etc) that I'll probably sell someday..and, being a SELLER, I think the price should go UP!!
