I'm probably going to try a 756 or 952 Dunlop for my next rear tire. Any reccomendations on size? The sizes available are:

756
100/100-18
110/100-18


952
110/90-18
120/90-18

Stock for a KDX is a 100 width. Height I'm not sure about...

The D756 will wear very quickly. I don't know your conditions, but it's basically a mud tire. The D952 is what I'm using now, and holds up longer than the 756.

Your best bet is to buy the tire with the best fit. Go with the 100/100 756; those are the dimensionas of the stock tire.

I'll probably go with the 952 for that reason. I have a Dunlop on it now. It's the original tire and is 100/100.

The 952 in 110/90 is (assuming all the models are sized the same) would be 10mm wider but the same height.

In the 120/90 the tire would be 20mm wider and 8mm taller.

Basically I was trying to determine the pros and cons of the 110 and 120. The 120 may be too big of a tire.

I have all the Mods on my 220R and I can say that I will be going with the 120 size next time. I am running the 952 in 110 and the bigger tire would provide a bit less wheel spin, I feel. I would also say use the 952. It has a much better life.

Avoid the 120 on that little KDX. The tire is humongous for most purposes. 120 is the standard tire for KX/CR500s and some newer 450s.

I use a 110/100, great tire. It's a Pirelli MT-16, though, but same idea. I still have some life left despite using it all of last season BTW, great wear & performance (hookup).

I just bought the 110. Can't wait to try it out.

120/90 is fine on the kdx, not noticeably different than a 110/100

I dunno.... I have a 120/90 D952 sitting in my shed, might go on the 250 before next months harescramble but DAMN, it looks huge... Huge for a 250, even.

I got the 110/90 tire home and put it up next to the stock 100/100 Dunlop 739 and looks to be almost the same size, which I guess it is. I'm thinking a 120 would have worked too.

My 739 is toast and still has pretty good bite. Cycle has them on sale locally for about $39. I might buy one of them also as a spare for down the road.

Yeah, might be too much tyre for you and your zuki!

Maybe it won't look so huge when it's mounted. If you have had good results with the 120 width, then that's good enough for me. I should have it on in a month or two.

You think you'd turn a lot better with a narrower tire, right?

I've never noticed a difference turning, all feel similar too me

756 wears too fast, and I never liked it for traction

The others wear like iron but don't hook up in slimey crap like the M5B does
