New Plug to try out!

Post by Indawoods »

E3 DiamondFire Spark Plugs - E3.30

This plug is proven to make more horsepower and shoots the spark towards the fuel. They claim more horsepower and better fuel economy and have the stats to prove it. More complete burn of the fuel... less spoo? Maybe!

Sounds good to me and I am going to try it.

I did a search and this one plug replaces:

Read a little bit about it here... and they sell them. Best price I could find.

Good find and a great read on the technology with lots of diagrams and explanation. I'll be trying these this year, thanks!

How does one plug replace three different heat ranges?

Hemi-headed engines don't really HAVE a 'toward the fuel', do they? Well, I'm sure there ARE differences in fuel charge density based on transfer port aerodynamics and flow pattern...and I would also bet no one knows what those density patterns are.

I'm not naysaying them...I have no idea. Skeptical? Yeah. I was skeptical of a lighting coil changing the spark effectiveness of the KDX, too. I mean, what a ridiculous idea that is!

...but it's true.

Let us know how it goes.

...compare it to a NEW 'standard' plug. No fair replacing a 2-year old plug you take out to a brandy new ANYthing you put in to replace it!!

What's the 'two sharp edge' part?

The write-up keeps re-displaying the same graphic of a plug, but I don't see any actual picture of the thing. What are they doing that's so great?

Saying this: 'The spark itself occurs only when an avalanche of electrons migrates from the two electrodes (anode to cathode)..'

..is such a laughable pile of horse s***, I tend to doubt everything ELSE they say.

I mean...really!!....an avalanche of electrons?

Don't mind me...I denigrate everything new and wonderful...even if it is incredibly oderiferous (or not...).

On a side note, I'm thinking of buying a new amp for my rig...it's 1000 watts, and ONLY $59!! What an incredible deal, 'eh? Heck, there's even a $30 rebate after that!!!!!

...splitfires had two sharp edges...HA!!!

I'm thinking spoo has more to do with silencer packing, jetting and what brand of oil you're using, never thought a plug would change anything.

Let us now..... Not that we have to ask, though :)

Spoo is a symtom of not getting a complete burn.

I was looking for a plug for my generator and looked at those but did not like the fact that one plug covered several heat ranges.

Back when I was into drag racing my small block Chevette, it was recommend to stay away from plugs that replace multiple heat ranges.

Inda I think we'll forever chase spoo w/ the damn alky cut gas. This will be an interesting test. If I wanted alky in my fuel, it would be pure methanol thank you IL....
