He was supposed to read my review, then praise me for leading him to YOUR oil and you, in gratitude, send me a commission check.....

Rick, when you get ready to buy some, click the link on the upper left part of the web page here. Good stuff.

Amsoil Interceptor is top notch stuff . . . and you'll be surprised to find out that it's actually cheaper than Klotz, Yamalube 2R, and some of the others.

How does the Interceptor differ from the Dominator?

The dominator is a 'tougher' oil designed for extended high-rpm use on higher-than-stock-compression engines....IE MX or Karting.

AMSoil is great stuff..... not sure if it is such a huge improvement of Klotz though. Give it a shot man! I run it because it's cheaper than most.

'Read my review'???

Those words actually relating to the link would have been reasonable....

Why 'do a search' when YOU know where it is..so why not just LINK to it!

What would he search for? Monkey oil?

:hmm:

And....buy it by the gallon!

I AM a bit concerned, that, having entered a quantity of '2' on the AITBK-GA line..I got a screen that said I had put ONE OF EVERYTHING in my shopping cart..including the 275 gallon tote for over $7000!!!

What's my commission on THAT!!??

Funny, the Amsoil site has the quart for $9.35, and the gallon for $35.80, but my local shop charges $11.99 for a quart, and $29 for a gallon. I'm going to start buying the gallons from now on.

It's just freakin oil

Happens to work pretty good though

I'm running it at 50:1

Bike is noticeably peppier

My piston's been in service for 5 years and my bike smokes very little on this stuff

Went to 2 different bike shops today and neither had any.

Thought about buying some bean oil for Jerry this weekend but I opted for a pint of Redline

So is it better than Motul 600 and 800 or not? I ran Motul 600 for years...good stuff. I switched to the 800 when my local shop was out of 600....Didn't work out as well. A little thicker and somewhat harder starting. I didn't foul any plugs, but it just didn't seem to have the same crisp throttle response. Stopped using the 800 and switched to Amsoil Interceptor. It seems about the same as the Motul 600 as far as I can tell. The Motul synthese technology is supposed to be more advanced and the Amsoil is suposed to be old school viscosity based theory. Comments? I don't care what either costs, I just want the best running stuff and the best protection for my engine.

Is there a "best" oil? For some people maybe . . . I use the Interceptor 'cuz it does a great job AND it's less expensive - it's called "value" !

Motul is good stuff....So is Klotz. Good, modern, full synthetic, NON-full out racing oil is what you want. Amsoil intercepter fits the bill perfectly. Motul 800 is more like dominator....which is fine, but you may notice symptoms like rdsrf mentioned. Mobil MX2T was good, readily available, but gone. Amsoil makes great products in general.

I got 47,000 miles (or was it 53,000? One'a those numbers) on a top-end in my first R5..using Quaker State 30W motor oil.... I can't tell you the number of times I was told it was going to blow up.

'Value'! Yeah buddy!!
