03 kx250

Post by 89kdx200rdr »

finally got tired of just having kx forks and found a good deal on an 03 kx250. motor is stock except 11 oz flywheel weight and it will probably stay that way. it's not lacking anything in the power department. suspension was revalved and resprung for woods by previous owner. i got lucky on the steering stabilizer the previous owner had a scotts stabilizer mounted the same as i had. simple swap from the 89. oh i kept my 89 and still plan on riding it sometimes. pics in gallery.

whenever you make it up to east tennessee you can ride it. i cant describe going from the 89 (which was no slouch on power with all i had done to it) to this bike. holy shat. i dont think rear tires are going to last as long. all i have left to do is get the rear end right. i got to 90mm race sag and had 35mm free sag. i have another rear spring that came with the bike as well as fork springs and i also got an ims tank, 05 seat(taller and firmer), front hub with rotor, skidplate and an fmf turbine core 2 q silencer. that was the sweet part.

I'd love to have one but I'm afraid my medical insurance would drop me after 6 months. If it's got it... I use it.

Just mesin' with ya, 89, I mean 03kx250rdr.

If you are serious about your offer, PM me with some directions from I-24. I think I can make it up there sometime. I think I am about 1.25 hours from the AL/GA/TN state lines.

Thanks,
Jason

I will check out the location. There is no one to ride with here, and basically no where to ride close by.

I appreciate the offer. It looks like a nice bike!

Thanks,
Jason

where in al are you i want to see how far away it is. me and bigorange (not a ktm rider a vol fan) usually ride at this small place close to my house. theres another good place i-81 motosports complex fairly close we ride there mostly in the summer. there are alot of places in knoxville area to ride but thats about an hour and a half away. brown mountain and brushy mountain are about 1 1/2 to 2 hours from here.
