Checked out the manual but it doesn't show.. Can you change the rear shock bump stop without dissembling the entire shock?

Tips?

Thanks,
Sean

You have to disassemble the shock to replace the bumper . . . once the seal head assy is removed the bumper can be slid off the rod.

Depending on it's service history you may want to look at replacing the seal/bushing too while you have it apart.

RaceTech has KYB shock parts.....

How IS the rebound assy attached to the rod? It didn't grow on there. It's not threaded?

Of course..getting it off would be a headache. What you gonna do..hold the shaft in your vise?

And, just as of course, you're not going to simply unscrew it, replace the bottom-out-bumper, screw it back on and you're done.

Happy fixing!
