RB mods and KIPS service

Post by rdsrf »

Just ordered a Wiseco piston kit for my 2000 KDX 220. I've read a few things about KIPS servicing recomended if you have the top end apart. Anybody have links to info on these?

It's much easier to 'service' the KIPS with the top end apart. That's true mostly 'cuz you can't do it with the top end together.

At least check to ensure everything works and isn't a gummy mess of gooped up parts.

Here's a link: click this!

KIPS service: Take it apart. Clean it. Put it back together.

I say!...thassa joke son.......

The question was: Links to info..on KIPS service.

The link takes you here...which happens to have the info on KIPS service..

Namely:
KIPS service: Take it apart. Clean it. Put it back together.
I'm stuck in a loop.

...which was the joke part.

ha ha ha. Now that is highlarious!

A btw...I'm not trying to be uninformative or vague to any bad end. It really does amount to taking it apart and cleaning it. Past that, as already indicated, if you have a specific question, please ask.
