Hatfield McCoy Places to stay

Post by JoeR »

I'm going to make the trip to WV in mid May to do 4 day's of riding. Any KDXers been there, and recommend a place to stay? The trailsheaven website is awesome, but there is no clear winner in the "Place to Stay" Category. 4 guys total.
I'm going down there with a couple of quad drivers and another guy on a bike and I'm looking forward to putting some miles on. My only worry will be running out of gas. Maybe I can get someone to caryy a little fuel for me.
Any advice or tips appreciated.

Which trail system? There are several and they're in different parts of WV.

Hi Jeb,
I was thinking of riding the Browning Fork Trail system that connects Gilbert and Man, but I'd be open to suggestions if one of them is way better than another.

Joe,

I am originally from WV and worked in that area 20 some years ago. There was never anywhere to stay in Man, we always had to stay in Logan. Gilbert on the other hand had some smaller motels that were bordering on being ok. That was 20 some years ago, so a lot could have changed.
