KLX300 to KDX convertible parts?

Looking at the KLX300 on Kawi's site and it's very similar to the KDX (except two too many strokes
) Has any one put KLX300 parts on the KDX?

I know from exp. that the rear wheel is the same. One of the KLX wheels has a rubber damper it won't fit, but the standard is the same part number. Some of the plastic and frame bits are the same also.

Yes.
I have a KlX300 rear chain guard.
But others KlX parts will fit on the KdX as well. Like: sprockets ,shock springs , air filter, brakes rotors , bearings , headlight , levers...
Maybe more.
Do not tell this to anyone, klx300 parts will be to much popular on Ebay.

I have both of the bikes and yes some parts are interchangeable. Brake pads, fenders, etc. We bought the KLX300 to dual sport just before Kansas changed their laws on it so now we use it as a back up bike. The KLX is very boring compared to the KDX and rarely gets riden by anyone but is it still a good trail bike.

I was searching through ebay earlier and there's some KLX parts for sale on there.
