Install of number plate backrounds

Post by urnuts »

Got my backrounds.
What's the mixture I'm supposed to use for a wet installation?
Thinking is was water and alcohol, or water with a drop of dish soap.... I know I've done things like this in the past.... just can't remember. Getting old!
Thanks.

Me too

Windex works great. Just spray it on, place the decal, sticker, number plate background, whatever. Then squeegie out as much of it as you can. It will take several days for it to fully dry and stick.

Many glass cleaners contain ammonia which can damage some plastics..
