Put on a set of USD's

Any reason you can't leave the odo drive hub on?

I used an old Chapstick cap if I remember correctly. It was a very tight fit and I don't think I even used any glue.

But why get rid of it?

Kind of nice knowing how far I've gone, and how much further I can go

Like when riding tight single track, if I get close to 40 miles on odo, I definitely need to be heading back for the truck

When I put on my Watchdog I just removed the cable and used silicone to plug the hole. It stays in well and can be removed if you want to re-install. If you are careful you can even make it look nice and smooth.

Because it broke and there was no use in having it just dangle around.

I've seen bins at hardware stores that have caps that will fit it. I bought one for mine but I lost it on the way home while on my street bike. Fell right through a hole in my pocket. There were several options for this. Try OSH or ACE.

I was able to crimp off the steel cable end and fold it over. Took some doing but I think its pretty tight.

I was needing it to mount my "E" series headlight. I'll probably just fab something up if I can't find a bracket.

Thanks for the input guys

The reason for removing it was because i was thinking
of going to a KX look for my bike.
Number plate and KX rear fender.....

Then if i ever sell it just bolt it back on and have it looking
like stock.....
