Is there supposed to be a donut gasket that goes around the pipe where it goes onto the motor?
I used some foam and de-greased my bike. Now that it's so clean i noticed oil coming from the front of the motor. It seems like the pipe doesn't fit so well. There's a small space on top. It kinda looks like the pipe may be tweaked a little. I seen that fredette sells a gasket that's supposed to build torque. Would this cure my problem?

No donut... there is a big flat copper ring that goes between the pipe and the cylinder. An easy cure is to use Silicone around the neck of the pipe and install it. Let it set up over night and she should be good to go....

Re: 'I seen that fredette sells a gasket that's supposed to build torque.'
That a reference to his torque ring? But..that's not a gasket.
If your pipe/cylinder connection leaks due to a tweaked pipe (most pipes are..all it takes is one bad get-off), a torque ring isn't going to fix it.
The gasket mentioned keeps the pipe from banging against the cylinder..I'd want to use one regardless of how well the pipe sealed just to give the two pieces some cushion.
I use two of 'em...so that makes my pipe fit twice as good.
