This is what I ended getting. It was $600AU delivered. Only time will tell how good it is I guess. Thanks for everyones help.

Not from that company from an Aussie ebayer. Are you saying that they work nowhere else in the world than North America ???

It says its preloaded with Aussie maps so fingers crossed...

Built-in mapping
With 8 MB of built-in Australian maps it’s easy to navigate around roads, parks, waterways and to find airports and other points of interest.
If you go by that I'm guessing its useable here aswell... I'll be sending it straight back if it doesn't work over here as the seller has claimed it will...

I'm sure it will be fine.... Just when I went to their website I was suprised to find it said "North America"
