Strap for Back of Seat

Post by SteveWR450f »

I have seen straps on the back of some KTMs in magazines. Strap used to manhandle the bike when picking it up or moving it around.

I thought somewhere here had made a similar strap. Just cant find it by searching. Anyone make one or buy one? Pictures? Best suggestions to mount? Was thinking thru the two rear seat bolts but not sure if that is best.

Thanks, Steve

the KDX has a handy little tube that pokes out of the right side of the rear frame rail that is designed to be a grab point to lift the bike. also the rear tubes that run under the fender are cross-braced, unlike most MX bikes, making them plenty sturdy.

I've been thinking of making one for the front, riding with a buddy, that would be a nice spot for when you need some extra help in the really tight she-it

Just need to figure out how to keep it from interfering with the W.E.R.

My bike has one behind the seat. I thought it was supposed to be there. It helps but it can be awkward at times because you have to dead lift it with your palms up and it's kinda high.
