89 and 90 Seats the Same?

Post by AwfulSmokey »

I am looking to get a seat cover for my 89. There aren't any listed on ebay. I seen a whole OEM seat for sale for a 90 [http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Kawasaki ... enameZWDVW]

It looks like mine, where the front comes down instead of going straight up on an angle.

The reason i ask is because this ebay posting is selling a cover for a 90 but it doesn't look like mine, will it fit?

Yes.

You can buy any seat cover or seat assy made for 89 to 94 kdx and it will fit your '89.

yes it will fit.

The reason why the picture does not look like yours its beause this is a generic picture. You will receive a black and green seat cover for your bike. The picture in this listing do not show a 'E' series seat.

And I don't understand why this seller say this seat cover will only fit a 90 model. This is not true.
