Does this rear wheel fit?

Post by SteveWR450f »

I have a 04 KDX 220. Would a 1990 Kawasaki KDX200 OEM rear wheel. Size: 18x1.85 fit on my bike? Thinks but not certain if the hub is different.

Thanks fo your time,

Steve

I think it should. I have a rear wheel from a '89 KDX200 that I use with a paddle tire for dune riding. I used it on my '92 KDX200, but I will throw it on my '97 KDX220 and let you know.

Thanks. Looking at the wheel on ebay. Want to use it as a backup with a trials tire mounted on it for summer riding. Steve

When does the auction end? I have my bike torn apart at my brother's shop and wont get to it until Saturday. (I have my spare wheel at home). I am going to take off my paddle and put a trials tire on as well. It would be really nice to just switch wheels for different riding conditions.

I put my spare wheel on today, and it works fine.

Did you get your extra wheel? what trials tire are you using. I am thinking of going with a Mitas on my extra wheel. The decision for me is to do the RB, FWW and trials tire (should get me up anything I point it at), or just do an autoclutch, cant afford both. Tough choices.
