1992 KDX200SR vs. 92 KDX200

Post by jeopardy98 »

I keep looking up front brakes for my 92 and the only listings that show up for 89-92 are the KDX200SR which after some research I found was an enduro type bike only sold in the UK. It had a steel tank, speedometer, and other goodies but I don't know if the brakes are the same for both models. Even OEM parts places list the 89-92 front pads as discontinued. This is driving me crazy. :?

That's exactly what I needed. It looks like I will be ordering quite a few things from those people. Thanks a ton.

Is there a trick to fork seals or do I need to break down and buy a driver tool?

Driver is a good tool to have... but you can use PVC to make yourself one.

I just used the old seal as a driver by cutting it and holding it above the new seal and carefully bumped it in place with a plastic shot-filled mallet. a seal driver would be nice though, I think Tusk makes one a good bit cheaper than the Motion Pro ones. RM sells a lot of the Tusk products.
