Rim Question

Post by dpagekdx220 »

Will a standard kx125/250 rim fit on a kdx? I know the rim is a 19 inch and the kdx runs a 18? will this cause a problem? is the hub different??and if so is there a way around that?

thanks

no but you could lace the rear rim to the kdx hub.
I have a new excel black with spline drive spokes on a KDX hub I will sell or buy the kx set on ebay and trade the rear for mine.

I looked...didn't see the wheel on the 'parts' section? I missed it? No? Going to post it?

I presume the rim is true?

Any other particulars about it? What's in it for bearings? CBR, right?

I was thinking of keeping the rim and lacing the oem rim back to it but at the rate of money going out, I could use some coming in.

so no I have not posted it yet.

THE CONDITION OF THE RIM AND SPOKES ARE NEW AND TRUE.

THE BEARINGS AND SEALS HAVE HAD THERE SHARE OF ABUSE

I HAVE BEEN BUSY WITH THE KX AND HAVE NOT LOOKED AT THE BEARINGS
ON THE KDX HUB.
I WOULD THINK THEY ARE IN NEED OF CLEANING AND RE PACK.

I know they are sealed bearings, I just pop the seals off clean, pack and pop the seals back on.

so I know the bearings are a couple years old.
