Not really what i asked mate....

I asked if it takes longer for a wiseco piston to warm up, vs the stock piston.

The stock one seemed to be warmed up within a 1 minute maybe 2, the wiseco seems to take about 4 or 5. Is that normal?

Hmmmm, I usually let mine idle a little bit, maybe a minute or two, then take it for a spin. Usually takes 75 - 100 yards to clean out and get on the pipe, then she's ready

Yes was the answer... which is the correct answer.... MATE.

A Wiseco is forged... your stock piston was cast. The cast is very close to tolerance no matter what temp it is. A Forged on the otherhand takes longer to warm up and come to tolerance.... it is a higher grade piston than the cast piston. It may not be what you asked... but you need to understand what you did to your bike.

Oh...Good advice there Wibby! Remind me to never take your advice....

Isn't that what they normally came with? I'm wondering if there is one out there with a bit more performance... the EG? What about iridium?
