Sure... they bore it within an inch of it's life... put a sleeve in and bore it to spec.

You definately have to have it done ...the tolerences are in the microns...

Why not replate?

Never heard anything good about a sleeve :?

i thought a resleeve would be something i could do. If it still requires a pro's help i'd just replate.

Your first question was can it be RE sleeved, meaning it had a sleeve in it. I don't think it does.

Repairing the cylinder or buying new or used and replating is the way to go.

Replating has its own issues. Do a search and a little reading

Dang circlips. I've never had one come loose, but I can sure see how they might and make a mess of things.

I had US Chrome do one for me last year. They did a great job on it but i have heard other folks complain about their work. Maybe I got lucky for once. I sent a new Wiseco with it to make sure the tolerances were right on.

I wouldnt do the sleeve thing. Known to cause heat dispersion problems. Hot spots that can kill your rings.
If you run into Heidi, have her look me up in her little black book and give me a call.

I agree with Topper. Skip the sleave, go for the plating.
