How do I check my valve timming?

Has anyone heard about Stihls new 4 cycle pre-mix engine. http://www.popsci.com/popsci/bown/2003/ ... 79,00.html The engine is stated as having horsepower and torque gains while reducing emissions. It uses intake and exhaust valve and 4 cycles just like a four cycle, but still uses pre mix at a 50:1 ratio. I wonder what this could hold for the future of dirtbike 2-smokes?
