rookie question (fork springs)

Do you have a washer on top of the PVC spacer?

It wouldn't hurt, especially if it were real wide. Let me check my 1987 forks and see what that spacer looks like.

I opened up one of my tubes. My spacers have a 32.25mm outer diameter. I have an Eibach provided washer in my forks. Maybe I better check the fit of where my washer and cap meet!
On the preload, remove the cap. Then hold the fork tube up off the ground with the cap off. Set the cap on top of the spacer or washer. That will let you see how much preload there is. If it doesn't sit on top of the spacer without contacting the threads, then you probably have less than 10mm of preload. If it sticks up way high, then you know you have more than 10mm. I can take a picture of mine if yu want to see it. I have 10mm of preload on mine.

ok i think it is ok. i will buy 2 washers from kawasaki.i will add a washer between fork cap and pvc spacer.btw i have found schedule 40 pvc.

That is exactly what mine looks like except I have standard washers between the top of the spacers and the fork cap. The bottom of that fork cap looks like a 1987 fork cap. Do the stock spring seats fit inside the PVC pipe?

no.i did not receive them.maybe next week! due to easter holydays postal service is closed for 2 days..Btw i bought the spings from idaocharley on ebay.thanks. i can not wait to try them. i will report when they will be in the forks!

ok.now i got them! i will try to install them this evening.I will test them in the muddy/ice snowmobiles trails in my backyards soon as possible.btw temps are getting higher this week around 40 degree f.
