i'm looking at ordering a skid plate for my KDX, but can't seem to figure out what the difference is between a skid and a glide plate??

any recommendations on brand would be appreciated. right now i'm thinking about the moose or msr skid plate... moose is about 10 bucks cheaper ($65)

try searching for Utah Sport Cycle. they make the plates for other companies and are pretty good to order from.
