I've never had a problem with factory cables reaching raised bars. If you do, then check your route for the cable. I bet it could be optimized.

I put on a set of ATV high bars this year, 7/8" alum. Just rerouted a zip tie and was good lock to lock.

I have the highest bend bars TAG sells. ATV minis or something like that. My clutch cable is at it limit (full lock left) and is slowly wearing a groove in the steering neck and wearing away the plastic sheath. I will have to check the routing. With bar risers aswell I would think your clutch cable will be too short FOR SURE.

run some tag bar clamps and CR CR High MINI bars they bolt on with no problem. They move the grip position forward and up and takes your hands off your knees.
