I've got a Lowrance Globalmap100. Not a bad unit for the money.
I had a Garmin GPSMAP76. It got stolen after I had it for a year. I loved it. Slim, weatherproof, it floats, built in points of interest. I highly recommend it.

I've had the Garmin GPSMAP60C for several years. I've been very happy with it once I had a mount build for it. I never could get use to having a GPS in my pack. It's extreemely useful mounted on the bike where I can see it while riding.

I have the Garmin Legend mounted like Q.C.'s, Works great, good detail with the topo upgrade. Download saved tracks on your p.c. and you can view them on google earth in 3-D.

That's not a bad price. I paid Garmin $130.00 to fix mine after it decided to take a trip down the trail (hense the metal cage on the KX for it). The cool thing about the color models...you can make each track stored on the GPS a different color. It's extreemely usefull when your out on an unfamiliar trial that is in the same area as familiar trail.

It looks big and with touch screen, perhaps easier to use?

Shouldn't you purchase a ruggedized unit? That thing has voice prompts on it... not very useful...

O.K. got my work to buy me this one:
Garmin GPSMap 60CSx
they just don't know they bought for me yet. Sure like my VISA corporate procurement card. But I use mine a lot and my old one is hard to see any more.

On sale at Amazon.com for $250 after rebates. Also got the handle bar mount made for it.
