Hello,

First time here....tried finding info on this via search and failed..

I have a 04 KDX200 that I need to make street legal. Need to know if the street legal components from the KLR are a plug and play on the KDX models?

It would be good to hear from anyone who has done this.

I don't know that they are plug and play...maybe plug, rewire, modify and pray

I'd imagine that you could make the speedo, lights etc work but its going to take some work.

Yeah - I'm certain that it can be rigged up somehow. My gut feeling tells me that I can go onto fleabay and scrounge up the necessary parts from a KLR250/650 and set something up. I was just hoping to hear from someone who actually did it.

Does it have a speedo that uses the cable like the KDX?

I mounted an XL100 speedo on mine, it showed mph, trip mileage and total mileage just didn't look so nice.
