Here's one place to get 'em -

http://denniskirk.com/jsp/product_catal ... tId=p18330

They call them "power reeds"

Super Stock fiber is probably the same thing.

I don't know of TWO fiberglas reedsets made by Boyesen for the KDX. They make fiberglas (607), carbon..and their completely useless piece of crap junker radvalve POS.

..not that I have an opinion or anything.

Save $10 and get them from Rockymountainmc.com.

The only time I've seen a price from DK better'n other places is when they are selling something different from what they're advertising..shipping a DF2 when they advertise a DF3 fer example.

Carvr's right about cheaper elsewhere than DK. I posted the link at 5:30am when my brain is at it's dullest . . . which is when I like to frequent kdxrider BTW, if that tells ya' anything!!

It tells ME you should be in BED!

Of course, you could say, 'That's when I get to work at the local nuclear (sic) power plant...in charge of the cooling system!'

GO HOMER!

The pic and the 'someplace to get'm' was the point I got from the post. I'm sure MXOld..'ll do his own shopping........

You're right..it is a bad pic.

Not sure...but I don't see the 2-layers that Boyesen's have.

Did you look at the DK pic?

Boyesens don't use the duck-bill reed stops the OEM reeds use:

Image

These are off an 'E' series..but look the same as and 'H'...courtesy of Mr. Wibbens.

Notice that each petal is a single-layered petal? Boyesens are TWO layers, which you can see pretty good in the pic above at DK.

Note you can ALSO see the Boyesen style of reed stop on the DK pic.

You can also see a Boyesen Fiberglas reed pic in my gallery, too...but it's a really bad pic!
