Thor sxt helmet OK?

Post by vinny »

I just purchaced a new Thor sxt xl helmet from Denis Curt for $15.00 plus shipping. Are they any good? The regular price was $149.00. I guess for the price I'll try it.

Well I got the helmet in yesterday. I have to say its an alright helmet. But, Thats all. I can tell it's not as well made as my HJC but maybe better than other lower priced helmets. I won't be afraid to wear it for $21.

I have an M2R right now but really need a helmet. I recently got a 50% off retail on an order of EVS gear up too $1k so I'm going to buy one of their Takt helmets. A $320 helmet for $160? Hell yeah!

If you don't want to spend BIG bucks on a helmet, never, I repeat never try on an Arai!!

In the street world..'they' say (No. I don't know who 'they' are) you either have an Arai head...or a Shoei head. A noggin generally fits one shape or the other.

Although..I've had both Arai and Shoei that fit well.

Guess that makes my head smush-to-fit?

I'm saying...unless you have a quite good idea that a particular brand and/or size indeed fits properly, ordering one through the mail is iffy.

I work in the grammar field....SUPPOSED to pay attention to spelling, but sometimes....well, I just like being a brat. Hell, I'm Inda's sister-in-law...what do you expect?...I BETTER pay closer attention when the ol' man teaches me how to work on my own bike or I'm in for some T-R-O-U-B-L-E!
