KIPS Exhaust timing....

Post by Indawoods »

As I was doing my topend today... I was playing around with the exhaust timing and noticed... the manual shows a perfect tunnel at full open and a perfect shut off at full close.
This is not the case with mine.... It can be perfect at one extreme but not the other.
What gives????

Are you off a tooth on the rack that actuates the kips valves?

I lined them up by the mark on both....

The valves are geared all the way around so they would turn as far as the gear would allow. It is still functioning but just not how the manual shows...
