I used the devol for some time. UFO makes a plastic one that I tried but liked the devol better.

Better option - do the kx fork swap and then you will more options for disc guard
WR sold. Now have 03 and 04 KDX 220s.
KXF 250 forks. RB Carb and Head. FMF rev pipe. Long live the KDX !!!

I did the swap and had a problem with the Acerbis guard not fitting with the KDX caliper. My KX forks are 97's though and have a different axle and clamp design that the newer models. If I new the Devol's would fit I would buy them.

I bought one from The Man # 02-12-402-22
(No picture on his site but he emailed me that it was your classic
disc fork leg all in one cover )

I'll post pics when it's on.

Not really a Guard but a cover.
One Bolt that screws into your axle,My axle was omly threaded about 3/4 of an inch (The Nerve)! so I had to saw the bolt down.
I will take the bike through the automatic car wash this afternoon and see if the cover holds up .

Doesn't look all that bad! I do like the whuite ones a little better though.

I always thought of the fork underhang as a disc guard itself!

I painted it White today with Krylon for plastic...
just for You!
The guards are MSR $ 35.00, they do nothing for a sideways impact
but do filter out twigs and brush that are funneled in when I cross fields.

I have a Devol KDX disc guard. The kit comes with the new spacer and the guard.

It SAVES my brake disc often, check the white sratch done by the rocks!!!
