06 kx250f kdx hybrid

im gathering parts to try and put a kdx200 motor in a kx250f frame. has anyone tried this or heard of anyone trying this? the only concerns i have right now are the exhaust i will probably run into more later.

Long time no see 89kdx200rdr! What have you been upto?
I'd think that you would have an issue with the front of the frame down tube section. Might have to cut it out and fab a opening into it for the exhaust to clear. It should be possible though as service honda stuffed a KX500 engine in a KX450F frame.

yeah i saw that bike in a magazine thats what got me thinking about trying to put a kdx engine in a 250f frame.
havent been up to much riding alot and trying out gncc racing this year

I've been thinking about this hybrid since I rode with ebeck on his KX-DX hybrid. I've been looking for a rolling chassis KX250F but no dice...yet. The 06 KX250F I rode fit me like a glove, it was amazing and with a simple to work on KDX motor it would almost be perfect.
