Chest Protection or Roost Deflector?

I have been shopping around and have become confused over which is which.

It appears at times that the terms are interchangeable and other times it's obvious by the picture that the roost protector is inferior to a full blown chest protector.

Maybe it's all in the design.

I'm confused.

Any suggestions?

the only difference I can see (besides the obvious look and color) is the "lite" boasts Just like the full Defenders, the Lite features a raised "Zone" area creating a pocket of protection

To me they are the same thing. I would suggest buying a NECK ROLL...$30 is a small price to pay for neck stability....

Whatever they happen to call it means little

The one has protection for your arms while the other one does not

I prefer as much coverage as I can get

Been ridin' with both these guys. One is good to have by your side in a bar fight. The other is good for.....hmmm...... well, we love our special little man!!!

Good thing Carvr has Wibby to carry that stump around for him or he'd never see anything!!

In the close-up picture of CC by the rail I see a bladder hose like I've never seen before. What is it?? An insulated refrigerated tube to keep the beer cold??

I personally like leprechauns - being Irish and all!! Also explains the magic he knows and his sly sense of humor.

And Wibby - what is with the underwear on the head - mostly seen Harley riders with the skull caps to keep from getting helmet or the semi-permanent dirt impreganted wind blown look. As I recollect you don't have much of either to worry about. Did not God give you a perfect head dome and allow you to show it?

Gee, I'm sure glad no one has derailed this thread about how to keep Wazowski safe from harm during his own self inflicted crashes so he can live long enough to maybe go riding with some of the guys who didn't derail this thread...

Since we are sharing pictures and I know what you all look like now (whether I wanted to or not) here's one of me with my favorite short person...

And...yes. It is an insulated (sorry NOT referigerated (sic for Inda)) tube. Not that I would have anything so fancy..it's Wibby's. Mine was ruint.

Well I not going to hijack this thread any further so...

I've got one of these that I wear quite often and really enjoy, comfortable, light and provides almost enough protection even in the woods. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/it ... division=2

I've also got one of these that I used to wear until I got the 661 up there ^^. I don't particularly like it but provides really good protection but tears up my back to the point that I would rather ride without it. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/it ... division=2

I'm thinking about buying one of these and wearing it for MX and woods. They are comfortable and my friends swear by them. Myself and others I know have had bad experiences with those bicep protectors so I don't need/use them. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/it ... division=2

I've also got friends who don't wear anything. They are also the friends who are much faster than I and don't have to worry about my roost! haha!
