Here's what I think...

Your unique body armor is useful to us...we will now add your intellegence into our collective...

Prepare to be assimilated...we are the Borg.

Resistance is futile!

Seriously though...that's some good coverage. I'll bet it's spendy.

Better to be hot than massive road rash and broken bones from wearing less protection.

The spandex keeps the pieces from moving out of place in a crash, thereby keeping your hide in one piece. The spine protection on one of those dealies saved my sisters life in a MC wreck, so they do work in extreme situations...

Is that going to protect the vital areas better than this?

To tell ya the truth... I don't even wear the one I got... I hate it!

I like CC's Fox AirFrame.... that is a nice one in my book!

I think the manufacturers need to work on mobility... not everyone is standing up in race position all the time....

Also... I really don't like looking like a Power Ranger when I am out riding... I like to keep it low key... Jeans are real comfortable but I like the jerseys because they breath so much better... but I am going to make them short sleeves so I can get my elbow protectors on.

What I meant was that I wouldn't continue the hijacking of the thread. I later realized that what I posted wasn't really what the OP had asked, his was a question of which is which, not what is a good one. Doh!

The fox airframe is a decent CP but there is one flaw that I've found...that damn hinge! There is this little plastic deal sticking out that rubs into my back when I put a backpack on, when I finish a ride I have a good 4inch bruise up and down my middle back where the hinge is. It's painfull...

I've worn one of those types; the body armor under jersey one. I think it was called body armor brand. Anyways, yes, it is hot for weather more than 70 degrees, but I say so what! My body loves sweating and hates bleeding. It provided the most protection of any upper body protection I've ever had. The fore-arm guards are awesome. Since they are built in, they stay in place and don't migrate down under vibration and look like old lady under arm flab.
I'd say, if you could only own one chest/upper body guard, that is the one I would choose. Then just keep it wetted down to stay cool during warm weather rides.

Besides, you can wear it under street clothes and look like Arnold!!

P.S. the hottest part was the kidney belt. But also the best, since my belly fat jiggles a lot. Compression clothing makes for more energy in my experiance.

I'd rather be a smartass like carvr, than a dumbass like.... well, you fill in the blank!

The last time I bled was being poked in the cheek with a branch through my helmet... maybe I need full face armor?
