2003 CRF450R forks
could i use these forks off of this bike for my 2001 Kdx220r and how would i do it?

Short answer: You can put on any forks you want.
Folks on this forum have used all sorts.
How would you do it?
If a step-by-step guide is what you're looking for, I would suggest you not try it.
Basically: Get the triples that match the forks. Getting a wheel/axle that goes with would make it simpler....and a brake setup.
Machine, match, plug, bore the bottom clamp to fit the KDX stem....the same for the top clamp.
Bolt'em in.
Stem length issues? Probably.
Leg length issues? Probably. Showas are LONG.
Front caliper fit issues? Probably. Use the caliper made for the fork, Machine, tool, makeup, swap lines, master cylinders as required.
Showas are very nice. Worth the trouble I'd say.
