New owner, introducing myself!
Hi Everyone, thanks for all the information :)
Having heard recent complaints from two of my dirt biking (non bike owners) buddies of my wifes bike behind to small. And tired of seeing my wifes bike beat up, we decided we would go in on a bike together. Ok, more like i decided and they said yes.
I present to you a 1990 KDX200, 1 owner bike. Bike was purchased new in the beginning of 92. Bike has 3300 original miles, wow. Bike is fairly stock except for a torque pipe to help it feel more like a 4-stroke, and boy does it! Everything works on the bike which is truly amazing. Only problem i can see is that it will need a chain asap.
Without further adue...

I wanna know what kind of idiot would complain to you about your wife's behind being too small... 1. It's not THEIR business, and 2. They're obviously simply jealous.
...maybe I misunderstood something. No one else brought it up, but that's just 'cuz they're (maybe) decent folk? Had you said 'adieu', I would have just racked it up to my often misunderstanding the French-to-English kind'a stuff.
The 'E' series is certainly a tractor.
Welcome...and have fun!!!

An updated pic of my progress!
So far I've done the following mechanical things:
EBC Red brakes (terrible)
New O-ring chain
Changed the jets from 160/50 to 155/45
Repacked muffler
New air filter
Cosmetic changes:
Removed gay disc guard things
Remove tool bag that made it an extra effort to swing leg over
Beginning stages of polishing pipe
Bent the brake lever pretty good and messed up the hand guard today at metcalf during one of my numerous bails

The tusk aluminum ones work good for $20 and you can add the plastic shields later for another $20.
