1. I r just bought some permatex black high temp rtv silcone gasket maker for sealing my pipe, just wanna make sure it is the right stuff for the job?
2. And at the moment I have my flywheel off and I cant get a gasket for that side as I would have to wait for it from japan (3 weeks) can I use the black silicone to seal up that side i.e make a gasket?

Yes, and yes. You could also goto the hardware store and get some gasket maker and material and make a new gasket up yourself.

Call the local bike shop and ask about gaskets. I was in Grand Junction, CO a while back riding, and blew a gasket. I called the Kawi shop, told them my bike model, year, and what gasket I needed. That had a gasket cutter there that between the time I called and the time I got there, they already had a gasket made.
Pretty handy, and it saved my weekend of riding.
