basic setup

Post by iagsxr »

Hopefully I'm going to find time to take my KDX for it's first ride this weekend other than around my shop. Right now the fork tubes are flush with the top triple clamp. Is that where I want to start? I haven't set sag. Good starting point for that? thanks Ken

If you have a KX fork, you'll want to raise the tube in the triple about 1/4 " (I can't say for other USD) and may have to re-adjust to your liking.
I'd set up sag for the rear right away, and probably re-adjust the rear clic on the trail to balance everything.
I believe the stock fork are almost flush with the triple

Good luck
