My little cousin has this bike and it started acting up so he took it in and there was no oil in it so they put oil in it but now the bike wont stop smoking but will run fine any ideas on what the problem could be

any ideas on what the problem could be
i have an idea that the problem is insufficient maintenance and having run the thing out of oil in the first place why would anyone do that anyway yanno you need to maintain stuff theres a good chance the entire engine is junk now certainly the head valves guides and things are goners
