89-94 kdx are almost the same bike as a 2001...so can we say that 95-2006 kdx are vintages bike also?

I have "vintage" and almost an "antique". The "vintage" is my GOOD bike. :sad:

Considering i can still get afterparket performance parts for mine i dont consider my a vintage I agree with Phil, vintage bikes would have to be pre 89

Actually I think those equations are for cars... bikes have a much more aggressive timeline like 15 and 20 years.

1974 and earlier is considered Vintage in the classic MX and off-road community. 1975 up to the end of drum brakes (1983ish) is considered Post-vintage. Any off-road bike with disk brakes is considered modern.
