Top or Lowend?

Considering you're from the east like me, I suggest the FMF Gnarly Woods pipe. I bought the Rev pipe for my 200, and I like the fact it encourages aggresive, high-revving styles of woods riding, but I would probably pefer the woods pipe, and I plan to buy it at some point.

Dose the woods pipe tack any power from the top end.

Are you asking or telling?

It's not supposed to...

I was asking. I was not shore if the pipe gave more power to the bottom end and took a little from the top. I heard it makes the bike have more torque.

Given you have a stock pipe, the woods pipe will not take power away from your top end.

The only way you would lose top end is if you were swapping the rev pipe for a torque pipe.

Nothing comes close to the power you get from the RB carb mod.
No pipe or reed can come close.

what is the RB carb mod?

I love the rev pipe on my bike. I also have a powercore II silencer and that made even more of a difference. The difference between the rev and stock was like night/day. With the powercore silencer on it now too, the bike has more of that 2-stroke "hit", but it is more linear and controllable. No experience with the woods pipe, though. :supz:

I run a pro circuit platinum pipe and it makes a ton of power. I run the stock silencer and it keeps it quiet.

We got our RB modified carb back today. Very quick turnaround service, excellent instructions. Bolted it on and WOW! Like a different bike: sharper and quicker pulls hard throughout the rev range. Changed the whole personality of the bike. Swear it pulls like a 250. Jetting was right spot on. RB is a class act.

The change Ron Black can bring to your bike with the carb and cylinder head mod is what you want if you want more out of your bike. Note his comments on his webpage concerning the aftermarket pipe and power reeds, you'll want those as well (they're good in and of themselves).
