lighting and electrical question
i was wondering if its possible to wire 55 watt driving lights on my 95 kdx... ( the kind u find at a advanced auto, autozone... ect...) i believe the stock light was 30 watt.... if i putt the other driving lights on will they just be dimmer then they would be on a car.. or burn out my wires, magneto.....the reason i'm doing this is because i like the look of the number plate thats on it now. but there is some occasions where i'll be riding in the dark, so i want to make a removable light bar thats mounts between the two bark busters

The stock lighting coil is around 35 watts. If you put a 55W load (lights) on that source they will indeed be dim. A LOT dim. You will be in the 30+% 'less than what you need' in the voltage/current department.
No, you won't burn out anything.
Pick a wattage closer to what you have available (don't forget the tail light) source-wise and you will be much happier.
