Another Fork spring/dissassembly question

Post by gtoron »

Before I purchase the KDX manual (online version) does it give a better explanation on fork spring removal/ disassembly with pics than the standard kawasaki service manual?

I have read many related questions on this subject but have never disassembled forks before and don't want to screw things up. I am mechanically inclined but the kawi manual does not seem that clear to me.

The owners manual? That manual is vague. I have the Kawi Repair manual, it shows all.

If you have the owners manual, ya know, the little green thing, the answer is YES.

I have the service manual. It still seems vague to me, maybe cause I dont have the forks infront of me.

I don't have the online service manual.

From parts of that have been posted here, it's obviously NOT the OEM manual published on-line.

Ask Inda. He is likely more familiar with it than most and could answer your question.

The pics I've seen from it sure are much better than the printed manual....
