33MM Carb

Post by jowens66 »

Will a stock 33mm KDX 220 carb fit onto my 1996 KDX 200? I used to have a KDX 220 before it got stolen and loved the torque it had. I waas wondering if i could put a stock 33mm 220 carb on my 200 and give it more torque down low, or if it would be better to send my carb to R&B and get it bored out to 36mm. I just want a ton of power down low, i don't care a bit for top end because i never use it. I never get past third gear in the steep crap i ride. Thanks

I wouldn't fit a 33mm carby on your 200. If low end is what you want i'd look more at a torque profile pipe, ron's head and carb mods (w/DEK#4) and some 607's reeds. FWW wouldn't hurt as well.
