I am taking a survey!

Who owns an air cooled KDX? I have an '87 KDX200. Please list which air cooled (1988 or earlier) KDX you own.

Thanks.

I am like the Little Red Hen. I do not want to hear a bunch of "Not I" answers.

My brother does! I already miss it  I'm going to refer him over here so he can get his KDX learn on. As soon as we thaw out, though, I'll be trying out a great white punkin' bike - a '95 KTM 300 MXC. But if it's too much for my trails, I'm getting an H model :supz:

It's gonna be harsh carney... unless she's worn out.

There's a familiar C model person! Welcome to the group. Good luck on your new scoot. Send your brother this way. I think there are only two C model owners on this group, plus one A model (jafo has / had a 1984 before / in addition to his 2003).

Hey Jason

I no longer own my C Model but, its still in my shop. I sold it to my brother when I bought the 04.

Inda I think I vaguely recall your KTM horror story, I'll try to avoid a repeat... but yeah, I think that bike is going to be pulling me around the woods, just based on my test ride. It's bigger than my KDX in just about every measure, I'll have to see how that plays out. Jason, you'll be happy to know my brother inherited a repair manual along with it  Hopefully I'll get a spin every now and then. Dave are/were you "dsndblm" over on the dark side?

Ha ha. I am glad to hear you still have it close by like Dave04.

Yes, he is dsndblm, which I found out does not mean dissin' double 'em.

Hi Carney

Yes that was me. I value my time and spend it here now instead of at that "other place". Good to see you here. So, your brother has your old KDX also?

David

Jason, yeh I still have the ol'84 KDX. I can't decide whether to keep it or let it go. It's served it's purpose for me, got me by until I got my new bike. You interested????

Jon.

Right? I struggled with that too when the opportunity came up for the new bike. Do I just keep the KDX as a backup/loaner bike? I had found a deal I couldn't pass up, so yeah Dave, in the end I figured I'd set my brother up with a deal he couldn't pass up. Called him the other day, after he got the bike home. It was 20 degrees out. Him: Hey, what's up? (sniffle, sniffle) Me: Ha-ha, I knew it, you were out riding that bike in 20 degrees! Him: Yeah, like for the last 6 hours!!! Glad he's getting way more use out of it than I could right now. Back to the air cooled KDX topic, just found out that a coworker also has an '88 KDX, so I told him about the site too
