What sprocket set are you running ??
I recently bought a Michelin tire that was supposed to be the same diameter as a 100/100, but is quite a bit taller. In order to get some gear back, I installed a 12 on the front. It would have been better to go up 2 teeth on the back, but this was quick and easy. The stock gearing was perfect for me in the woods, so this it's a little short now, but it works.

After running 12/47 for a few rides, I've decided to go back to 13/47 for a couple reasons: 1. Had to shift way too much on faster sections of the trail; 2. Although the lower gearing gave me more power down low, I found that I broke traction way too easily. I would rather have a little less power and more traction than to be spinning all the time. I found that crossing logs was actually easier with 13/47 - perhaps due to the "traction factor."

I have 2 sets that came with the bike- 13-45 and 13-50. Came with the 13-45 on it, and you cannot hardly get out of 3rd..
