In the summer heat, my bike got so rich that I *couldn't* use the choke. I leaned the jetting an all was well.

New Zealand is on the other side of the equator. How's the spring/summer temps coming along?

Re: '(i would only use it when cold)'

:hmm:

Why is it I read so many posts that make absolutely no sense..but seemingly only not to me? Others answer like it's all good..I'm left puzzling over what was written...wondering what my problem is!!

You would only use it when cold?

Pray tell when else you would 'normally' use it?

Do you mean you USED to use it when cold, and now you don't? That understanding can only be had by ignoring what you actually wrote!

IF you used to use the choke on a 'choke/cold' situation, and now you do NOT use the choke on a 'choke/cold' situation...yes, that is a problem.

'Problem' meaning your bike is not running as well as it should. Certainly you are considerably more rich than you should be if you can start your bike when it's 'cold iron' cold with no choke.
