I'm wanting to try a flywheel weight to my 250. They offer two different weights, 9oz. and 11oz. So which one? The engine has'nt been heavily modified either. Any guidance here would be really appritiated.
I was gussing a 9 oz. would probably do the trick. I figured that an 11 oz. weight would be better for say a highly modified engine with alot of power.

Your riding conditions dictate a lot of what you may want also. Tight and rocky or slippery trails would lean more to a heavier weight to tame the power hit and maintain traction. Tight single track with good traction would lean towards a lighter weight. Wet conditions really benefit from heavier weights.

OK Indi, your gonna have to clue me in on the "Zinger" title
Oh and it's for a ...... gulp...... YZ 250, 98' to be exact.
As far as riding conditions, it's all the above really. I don't want to put something in the thats really going to take the hit away from this bike. It's pretty explosive in it's current state. So that said I guess I'll just go with the 9 oz.'r.
