A footpeg experience

Hi all just thought i would share my little project i had with upgrading my footpegs on my E2 KDX200 1990. Big Trev (Kay Dee Exer) was kind enough to send me his old 1998 H Model Pegs i figured this would be a good upgrade.
Found that the peg brackets were way to wide for the H model pegs.

where it mounts.

therefor the return spring sits inside the peg, so to speak.
Basicly a easy fix is to order H model springs instead of E2-E4 springs as they are much chunkier than the H model. Image

On the H models the return spring sits on the outer of the bracket as the bracket width is much shorter. as shown below

Thanks to Trev for the above pic
any thoughts would be appreciated

Sharpen the pegs. Good sharp points will grip your boots much better. No matter how wide the pegs are your boots need to remain securely planted on the peg and not prone to sliding off.
